Ideally sited in the Golden Triangle of Beverly Hills, California, 9420 Wilshire Boulevard offers more than just a prestigious address. No detail was overlooked when Harwood International developed what is now the West Coast Service Center for Rolex Watch USA, Inc. This stylish addition to the city spans a block along Wilshire Boulevard with Cañon Drive literally ending at the front entrance. Within a short walk are the world’s most exclusive boutiques and luxury hotels on Rodeo Drive.
9420 Wilshire Boulevard was built in the 1950s as an office and retail building. Architect Richard Keating planned the ambitious 46,420 square foot redevelopment, completed in 1998, to capture and reflect the flow and movement along Wilshire Boulevard, wrapping the horizontal registry of the existing structure in a sleek, 80-foot glass curtain wall. Behind the building’s glass façade, water cascades silently over a black granite sculpture by the late artist Eric Orr.
A 17th century Japanese samurai battle armor accents the lobby. The building earned first place awards for outstanding renovation from the Los Angeles Business Council and the city of
Beverly Hills.
