William Hilburn oversees the day-to-day operations of the Dallas office and focuses on growth initiatives to build Harwood International’s business.
He is also responsible for the development, construction and management activities of a variety of projects. Because of his broad and thorough knowledge of real estate development and construction industry, Bill is able to maintain profitability in an industry that, historically, has a low profit margin.
Bill has over 30 years of extensive multi-disciplined experience in the real estate development and construction business. He is a registered architect, licensed real estate broker, and a licensed real estate appraiser. Bill has been a member of the Construction Specifications Institute, American Management Association, and the American Institute of Architects and is accredited by the National Council of Architectural Registration Board.
As a development Executive for American Invsco, Mr. Hilburn served as the Owner's Representative for Millennium Centre Tower - a $220 million highrise new condominium development in Near North Chicago. His responsibilities included managing the Partnership, and developer's team, as well as activities of architects, designers, engineers, and contractors, and the marketing and sales process through closing and building management.
He conceived and directed the development of a proprietary internet based software application, DesignWorks, that provides project management tools for design and interior construction, facilitating material and plan option selections, tracking, cost and markup options and status, punch list and communications processes to all parties involved, including unit buyer, vendor, architects and designers, contractors, as well as lenders.
Mr. Hilburn holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Texas.
