INSTITUTE OF REAL ESTATE MANAGEMENT OF DALLAS HOSTS LUNCHEON WITH FOUNDER AND CEO OF HARWOOD INTERNATIONAL
DALLAS, Feb. 11, 2009: Gabriel Barbier-Mueller, founder and CEO of global real estate firm Harwood International, was the featured speaker for the January meeting of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®) Dallas chapter. Introduced as an ODIE (IREM® lingo for Owner, Developer, Investor, and Employer), Barbier-Mueller discussed the importance of running “intelligent” buildings by hiring highly trained people, and how this year “needs innovation to ensure a high standard of quality and services is delivered to clients.”
“His message was both inspiring and thought provoking,” said Kristin Hiett, CAE, IREM Dallas Executive Director. “He was well received by our property managers who could put the information to practical use in their area of expertise. We were glad to see the success of our own, Vickie Fentz, CPM, who has worked with Mr. Barbier-Mueller for over 10 years managing his properties worldwide.”
