HARWOOD INTERNATIONAL RELEASES SECOND EDITION OF “THE WALK TO LIFE” GUIDE
HARWOOD, DALLAS, TEXAS, JUNE 26, 2008: Harwood International, the developer of Harwood District in Uptown, has released the second edition of its new “Harwood in One Thousand Yards: The Walk to Life” guide. The guide features restaurants, bars, hotels, sports and entertainment venues, museums, and art galleries that are walkable within 1,000 yards of Harwood District. It also gives an “insider’s recommendation” on what to order at each restaurant as well as showcases Dallas celebrities’ favorite places to go. An enclosed map also outlines a Harwood District resident’s favorite two mile walk through Harwood District to State Thomas to Victory Park.
“With the high price of gasoline these days, we are seeing that people are interested in concentrating their leisure time and activities,” said Gabriel Barbier-Mueller, founder and CEO of Harwood International. “All of the attractions in Harwood, Uptown, the Arts District, and Victory are so easily accessible by foot, and we thought it would be beneficial to the community to provide them with a guide to explore the many places available within 1,000 yards of our district.”
